 Dialogue Questions 

We hope you will use the following questions to continue the dialogue/journalling process of open communication.  You may use these questions in the manner that best suits you, in the timing that works in your marriage.  The ONLY requirement is that you USE THEM!

 

    • -Think of something that you would like to pray for this weekend. Share that in writing.
    • -When we encounter ourselves we see things that we would like to change. Think of one thing now, write it down. You may elect to share this or keep it personal.
    • -Plan now to encounter Jesus this weekend and feel loved. How can we do this?
    • -What is the most endearing quality of each team member? Make it good and put it in writing..
    • -What quality would you like to work on to improve yourself?
    • -How does it make you feel when you have contact with someone who thinks that they are junk?
    • -Have you ever went home from an CEE weekend and changed something in your life?
    • -Write a 50 word advertisement for CEE. Encourage couples to come.
    • -Share about someone who made you feel loved when you were a child. Who makes you feel loved now?
    • -Did you make a New Years resolution? If not make and share one now.
    • -It is difficult to deal with someone who doesn't love themselves. Do you have any suggestions?
    • -What is your next favorite ministry? Tell about it.
    • -Tell about a time that you prayed and God answered that prayer by changing you instead.
    • -Tell of a time when you encountered Jesus and felt loved.
    • -What is it that keeps me from loving others as I should?
    • -What would help to improve your relationship with God?
    • -Tell of a time that you experienced true joy in your relationship with God?
    • -Have you ever helped someone to believe that God doesn't make junk?
    • -Design a bumper sticker stating your message to the world.
    • -What quality would you like to work on to improve yourself?
    • -How does it make you feel when you have contact with someone who thinks that they are junk?
    • -Share about someone who made you feel loved when you were a child. Who makes you feel loved now?

    • -With what endearing quality would you like to be introduced?
    • -Tell about your first love if you dare. How would you see your life if you had married your first love?
    • -Tell of a special Priest or married couple in your life.
    • -Have you ever been an influence in someone's vocation? Who has been an influence in yours?
    • -Tell some of the ways you have changed since becoming involved with CEE.
    • -Tell how you shared your faith last week. If you didn't tell how you will next week.
    • -Give five sure signs of a doomed marriage.
    • -Do you have trouble accepting someone when they are open?
    • -Tell about a special time you really listened as someone was being open with you.
    • -Tell of a time that you shared your faith with someone
    • -Have you ever successfully tried to change someone?
    • -Fifty words or less: Write a new talk. Telling someone the difference between love and infatuation.
    • -Be open: Where would you like to spend a week?
    • -Tell about a special hug, a time you really listened or someone really listened to you.
    • -Take a risk. Tell three lies about yourself and one truth. Have your spouse try to pick out the truth.
    • -Have you ever unsuccessfully tried to change someone?
    • -Fifty words or less: Write a new talk. Tell someone what they really need to know.
    • -How did I do during my last argument?
    • -What is my view of marriage as a vocation?
    • -What might we do to help change the worlds view of marriage?
    • -Tell about the your first job. What did you do with the money? Or do you still have it.
    • -Make a list of ten reasons why you should love your boss. Try to keep it to ten.
    • -Make a list of ten things that cause you to act in an aggressive manner.
    • -Draw the first house you lived in as a married couple.
    • -Make a list of ten reasons why everyone should love you. Try to keep it to ten.
    • -Tell of a decision you made to love a jerk. Or tell of a decision you made to be a jerk.
    • -Draw a Valentine for your spouse or draw one for yourself.
    • -Tell some of the ways you have changed in the last ten years.
    • -If you won the lottery, had no job, no family obligations, what would you do with your time?
    • -List 10 life-giving things that you do for your husband, wife or family on a daily basis.
    • -List 10 life-giving things that he she or they do for you on a daily basis.
    • -How has the way you view morality changed in the last ten years?
    • -Laughing together is life giving. Tell something funny, if you still have time.
    • -List 10 life-giving things that you have done today. If you haven't, the day isn't over.
    • -List 10 life-giving things that have been done to you today. Also remember the day isn't over.
    • -Write 10 commandments for living a life-giving relationship in marriage.
    • -Have you ever made a decision using the five step process.
    • -How could someone be life-giving to you?
    • -If you were a real saint, tell some of the things that you would do to help your fellow man.
    • -If every one else were real saints what would your life be like?
    • -Without looking it up, what are the five steps to the decision process. There should be at least one more step. What do you think it is?
    • -Have you been called to be life giving to someone recently?
    • -What habits do I have that giving up would help me to be more life-giving to others?
    • -Design a new banner for family?
    • -Make a list of ten things you would purchase for yourself if money were no problem.
    • -Make a list of ten things that you would purchase for someone else if money were no problem.
    • -How much has our view of morality changed in the last ten years.

    • -Draw a Family tree and try to be honest. For some of us it may be hard..
    • -Tell a story of forgiveness if you can think of one.
    • -Draw a picture of your favorite family time. You may use stick men if necessary. Tell a story about your picture.
    • -Tell of a family tradition that you always enjoy.
    • -Plan a new symbol to introduce into your child's, grandchild's, or your next wedding.
    • -Tell about a time you forgave someone and it was really hard.
    • -Tell a story about your favorite Aunt or Uncle.
    • -Make a list of fun things you do now and a list of fun things you did when you were one half this age.
    • -Tell about a wedding you have gone to.
    • -Tell about a time you forgave someone and it was really hard.

    • -Tell about a funny wedding you went to? Was it yours?
